Meet Dr. Valerie Anderson (Saint John, IN)

Dr. Valerie Anderson is a dedicated optometrist committed to delivering personalized, high-quality eye care to patients throughout Northwest Indiana. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2000 before graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2005.

After practicing in both private and corporate optometry settings across the country, Dr. Anderson recognized the need for a more patient-centered approach to vision care. In 2011, she founded ClearVue EyeCare near her hometown community in St. John, Indiana, with a mission to provide comprehensive eye health services focused on quality, education, and individualized attention rather than high-volume care.

Under her leadership, ClearVue EyeCare has become known for combining advanced diagnostic technology with compassionate care for patients of all ages. Dr. Anderson and her team provide services ranging from comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings to medical eye care, retinal imaging, and dry eye management.

Outside the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys fitness, ballroom dancing, and spending time with her husband John, their children, and their dogs. A former Junior Miss champion, she was also selected as an alternate for the Chicago Bulls dance team, the LuvaBulls.
